Arena Place is an 11 story 376,347 sq. ft. development in a highly visible location along US-131 in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. Project includes 100 apartments, 280 parking places, restaurant, office, and retail space. Michigan Air Products worked with the mechanical engineer both pre-construction and during construction to be sure equipment was applied properly to meet both building and code requirements. During construction we worked closely with the mechanical contractor to be sure equipment both fit the needs of the owner and the project schedule. Most of the equipment Michigan Air Products provided is out of sight, but is critical to the operation of the building both by meeting safety codes but also comfort for the occupants.
Michigan Air Products provided Greenheck Fans (124), Energy Recovery Units (2), Roof Hoods (3), Louvers/Brickvents (207), Fire Dampers (284), Combination Fire/Smoke Dampers (52), Ceiling Radiation Dampers (763), and Price GRD’s (1175).
