This is when an Aerofin Split-Fit Coil offers the ideal solution. Long coils are divided into smaller sections that are easily staged and assembled together on-site as the replacement coils are installed into the air handling units.<\/p>\n<h2>How It Works<\/h2>\n<p>Water and glycol coils are split along their finned lengths into the number of smaller sections that best accommodate your particular installation constraints. Each split between sections incorporates two divider plates (carbon steel is standard), a specially designed gasket, and assembly hardware. The divider plates are bolted together as the separate sections are installed. The overall dimensions of the original coils are maintained, allowing direct replacements with minimal performance impact.
